Celebration Guidelines

We are celebrating the Avasthapoorthikaranam of our beloved Gurus’  Sishyapoojitha Janani Amritha Jnana Thapaswini, on 21st & 22nd February 2006. This gracious occasion is to be celebrated in an appropriate manner with a prayer of unity and sankalpam , and thus the families and the entire society partake.

 

Regarding this occasion, following instructions are received from the Grace of Guru:

 

 

  1. This celebration has to be an exemplary one, because this is going to be a great occasion for the entire humanity to follow.
  2. Gatherings of followers to be made at each place, and enlighten them with the elegance of the term Sishyapoojitha.

 

a.     By 21st February at 4 PM all Kumbham processions from various Branch Ashrams have to reach at Santhigiri Ashram, Thiruvananthapuram.

b.     Kumbham processions from S. Battery, Palakkad, Ernakulam should reach Janmagriham and join the procession from there and reach Ashram.

c.      There is permission for the processions from Kallar, Kumili, Kottayam, Madurai, Kanyakumari and Bangalore to reach directly to Santhigiri Ashram, Thiruvananthapuram

d.     At the important spots on the procession routes appropriate receptions with ensembles, Colour Umbrellas etc.

 

  1. There should be enough media coverage and publicity should be arranged in connection with the celebration.
  2. Display of banners and posters are not necessary. But if possible there can be arches at important points en-route of the procession.
  3. There will be Pushpanjali by the 72 assigned members at 3 AM on 22nd February. Everybody should be present at Ashram till the public meeting of 3PM is complete.
  4. On the previous day, (21st February) there will be separately coordinated meetings of Viswa Samskarika Navothana Kendram & Santhimahima also of Mathrumandalam & Gurumahima at different venues. Since important matters are there to discuss, all should be present for these meetings.
  5. Since there is a Word that there are fundamental will take place along with the Avasthapoortheekaranam Celerations, all devotees should be present in the Ashram from 21st morning.
  6. At 8 AM on 22nd February there will be a Kumbham Procession, which is extraordinary since there is an instruction to all house-holders to partake in the procession by all who is 14 years or above.
  7. As a part of the Avasthapoortheekaranam in all Branch Ashrams and homes, a special prayer and Sankalpam from 5:30 AM to 6:15 AM to be observed.
  8. All are instructed to observe austerity. Upaharasamarpanam can be done in coordinated through districts/zones.
  9. In modest way houses should be decorated and sweets are to be distributed to neighbours.
  10. Cleanliness at home, mind and in words to be observed without fail.

 

To elaborate about the aforesaid matters deputed representatives sent from the abode of Guru, all the devotees should attend to listen to them.
